THE CUTEST THING EVER... AGAIN....

Every single day I see or hear something my kids do that I think is just THE CUTEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE.... then, they do something else... I am so blessed by constant cuteness!!!

Liliana's newest thing is to draw her little guys and then cut them out. She loves using her kid siccors. She is usually good about cleaning up all the little peices of paper that end up on the floor. :o) Today she made a little guy and cut him out and carried him around for hours. Well, I forgot about the little guy and laid Liliana down for a much needed nap. I then went up to do a few things on the computer and returned about 30 minutes later to join her for a nap myself and found this!!! Liliana sound asleep with her little guy laying on the pillow next to her... THE CUTEST THING EVER!!! I carefully layed down beside him so as to not disturb his sleep and enjoyed a wonderful nap.

Then there is Noah... THE CUTEST THING EVER... two nights ago Noah woke up crying around 2 a.m. and was not falling back to sleep on his own, which is very unlike him, so in our sleepy cozy state we brought him to our bed to see if he would fall asleep... he was laying inbetween us and we were cozy and just letting him find his way to sleep, well, he babbled a little then, next thing we hear is him saying "goggy...woof, woof...goggy...woof, woof" He did this like 10 times and Donnie and I just laid there listening quietly to his little mind at work, so innocent, thinking of doggies and barking like one at 2 in the morning when he should have been asleep! WAY TOO CUTE!!! After a while of barking (lol) we brought him to his bed where he fell fast asleep!

Today when he woke up from his nap, I walked in there and he stood up and pointed to the other side of his room and said "cow.... bunny.... where go?!" I repeated "cow, bunny" and he then said "cow" and stuck his lips out really far and said "moo". The cutest EVER - once again! :o)

My Babies - Bathtime Routine

As far as I can remember since Liliana was born I have had a little routine of swaddling the kids in their towel right after bathtime to keep them warm and would say "you're my baby, my newborn, my infant"... Even as Liliana has gotten older she just looks so sweet and small and warm wrapped up like that just after a nice bath. Well, this is what we do to this day and they both now ask to be my baby. As Noah gets out of the tub, he says "baby" and Liliana says "I want to be your baby". They do this to daddy too whenever he helps with bathtime. These pictures show me just how BIG they really are - wow! Noah almost looks bigger than Liliana in these. So cute!

Getting So Big!

We had a little impromtu photo-shoot today before we headed out to church.

Liliana proudly fancied a dead flower of some sort. hehe! She also boasted in looking like "grandpa" by wearing socks with her sandals. Ha! I love her fashion sense!

Check out her bling! :o)

Life Stuff

Noah put on Liliana's new running shoes... on the wrong feet. They looked so big on him! :o)
I love my new running stroller and have been using it a lot! :o) The kids like to get a little run in as well! Liliana can run for a good mile! Noah bounces along and the does the above at random times. Ha!

"Donnieee"

I try so hard to get Liliana to smile for photos, but this is the face I get. Ugh. :o)

I am overwhelmed with constant cuteness and comedy with Liliana & Noah!

Noah loves to say "Donnieee". He says it loud, clear, often and who knows why! lol! Donnie and I think it is some sort of call for help or to get you to notice something. Sometimes he calls me Donnie. He also goes on these kicks where he will say "Noah" all the time. Sometimes it seems as though he is calling Liliana "Noah". He usually calls her "Ayaya".

Noah Talk & Lili Humor! :o)

Liliana's newest "thing" is to pick out her outfits and change clothes. Today she changed clothes about 3 times. Well, one of those times Noah saw her head covered by the shirt she was removing and said "I see you"... He said it like 10 times. Perfectly clear and adorable! I love how articulate he is! It makes things so easy on mommy! :o)

In between one of the clothing changes Liliana needed help opening the gate... she said "I can't open the gate because my hands are full" and as I look at her empty hands I said "oh really, what are they full of?" and she said "bones". LOL!!! She is too smart! :o)

More cute "dirt" on Liliana, my precious little baby girl... Yesterday she said she needed a pad in her panties... she said very matter of fact, "mommy, I need a pad", I said "oh, really, why honey?" and she said "because I had a baby yesterday and so I need a pad in my panties today." lol! A little girl in Liliana's class at church told me last night that she had a baby in her belly too (her mommy is pregnant). Girls are so sweet in how they copy and try to identify with their mommies! So sweet!

More Noah Talk

Liliana had a boo-boo on her thumb tonight and asked me to put a band aid on it, well she whined very pitiful like! Noah jumped right in on the action and stuck his foot out where he had a band aid a week ago and I said to him "Noah, do you want one too?" and he said "Yeah.... do it.... NOW!..." Oh my! :o)

It is so cute to watch Noah learn to talk because he is so decisive! He has always presented himself as a very decisive little guy, but now that he is more verbally expressive, it really shows. Any time I ask him a question (i.e. do you want a waffle?, are you done?, etc) he says "yeah, yes, or no"... and that is that! Much unlike us girls and women where you must read between the lines and decipher between our waffling and vague answers. lol! There are no mind-reading games or mysteries with Noah... he is pretty black and white about stuff! Makes it SO easy on mommy! Thanks little guy! :o)

"Sah-ye" = "Sorry"

A few days ago Noah was walking around with one shoe on and it was a skater type tennis shoe with a thick hard sole. Well, he walked by and stepped on my toes and it really hurt and I said "Ouch, Noah, you stepped on my foot", not expecting him to really say or pay any attention really to what I had said and he all on his own said "sah-ye"! So sweet!!!

Another new phrase Noah began saying a couple of days ago is "What are you doing?" He says it so cute, it sounds kind of like Joey from Friends saying "How you doin'?" hehe! I know exactly why he has learned this phrase. :o) Donnie and I are always asking Liliana and Noah "what are you doing?" ha! Kids are such a reflection of their parents!

Getting in Shape!

I finally got my much anticipated double jogging stroller yesterday!!! Yay! I recently came to grips with the fact that this is the only way I will work out - with the kids & outdoors!
It is 2 pm right now and I am already starting to feel sore and love it because it means that my first workout this morning of 3.5 miles walking/jogging is working! It is very humid and hot out today, so the pounds were dripping off of me! Ha! I don't have too many pounts to shed... maybe 7 - 10. I just want to be in shape! I don't want to be out of breath after leading the toddlers in songtime at church! :o)
The kids loved it! They were crackin me up singing, shouting, dancin, etc! So cute! They love their new stroller. Liliana was upset when we were done and had to go home. I was shaking! I ate m&m's and drank Barq's when I got home! Ha!
Go Mama!

Just Playin!

Noah is really catching up to Liliana in height! They are way too cute together! Here they are sitting together in front of our back door outside.

Check out this little guy, always so chilled out... hand in pocket and a cup of rocks... life is good!

"Daydough"

The other evening we were playing with playdough and I am not sure what got us doing this, but it was fun & funny! :o)
Noah calls it "daydough".

Just Call me Madam Blueberry!

We went blueberry picking again today! I could go every week! I would love to have my own farm! Seriously! The green, the outdoors, the crops, etc. The Life! Dreaming... ha!
Here are Nick, Liliana, Jack and Curious George, of course! Bethany, Alley, Juliet and Levi showed up a little later.
Yummy! I am so happy both Liliana and Noah love blueberries as much as me!
Holding the bucket upside down!
It rained lightly on us for about five minutes which was really cool. We were out there for about 2 hours!

Addicted to Mommy

I am so honored to be absolutely the most amazing and loved person on the planet - at least by two people, Liliana and Noah! :o) Ha! Yes, they are so addicted to mommy! "mommy, mommy, mommy". I love it and I hope they are still that way as teenagers - ha! :o) Of course I am working hard to not feed into it though as I endeavor guide them to independence, or best said - "God-dependence", as I believe that is our "job" as parents. :o)

I gave Liliana a haircut the other night and I absolutely adore it!!!

Mr. Independent

Noah's favorite thing to say about everything is "I do it". Today we were at the park and I was pushing him in a swing and he turned his head to look back at me and said "no, I do it". Hilarious! How does that little love-bug think he is going to swing by himself. He later said "I do it" when I was helping him go up and down on the see-saw... again, with his sweet feet a good foot from the ground how is he going to "do it". So sweet!!!
He also loves to say "I do it" when I put shampoo on his head. He likes to lather it himself. Of course, I get my way and get in there and scrub too. So sweet.
Then there is Liliana who would let me spoon feed her even now and scrub her hair. She does those things without a thought for herself, but is not threatened by letting me help now and then.
So sweet!

Fireflies & Rainbows

Oh, the joys of summer! Yesterday Liliana and Noah saw their first rainbow and fireflies! Well, I am not sure if Noah saw the rainbow, but Liliana loved it! We pulled into the church parking lot and there it was - a beautiful rainbow! What a special place to see your first rainbow - from church. When we got home from church last night to do our regular routine to fill their tummys and get them off to bed I saw flickering lights from the kitchen window and squeeled with excitement to show the kids. I shuffled them out the back door and we sat there for a good 10-15 minutes enjoying God's blessing of lightning bugs and the peaceful night's sky.

Summer doesn't get any better than the smell off nightime air, fireflies and rainbows! :o) Thank you, God!

Breakfast with Daddy

For years now Donnie has enjoyed being the breakfast chef on his days off. We enjoy something different for breakfast on these days as mommy usually just does cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc... easy stuff - since everyone is starving first thing in the morning from their good night's sleep. :o)

Donnie made blueberry pancakes with our freshly blueberries.

Annual Church Picnic

Today we had our Annual All Church Picnic. It was lots of fun. Here is Noah with Lyana. She is 1 year older than him and she LOVES him. Ha! She talks to her mom at home about what she will do when she sees Noah. She says "I will touch him, hug him and kiss him." And that, she does! He hates it! haha! She rubs his head and kisses his arms and holds his hands and hugs his neck. He finally began to submit to it. She is a super-cute and sweet little girl. We love her family!

Miss Liliana curling her tongue.

Noah LOVES pony rides. His whole face lights up when he sees a pony! He smiles and laughs the whole time. So sweet! :o)

A wild flower.
Mr. Munchy. :o) Eatin' fruit.
Thank God for our Freedom! May He keep and preserve our country through men and women who will stand up for His truth on which we stand!

Blueberry Picking

Blueberry season is one of my most favorite things in the world to do! I think of it and look forward to it all year long.
It is cute to watch the kids and how they have matured and grown over the past year in how they approach and handle blueberry picking. Last year Liliana ate them the whole time and ended up with about 5 blueberries in her bucket and this year she was the hardworking farmhand. She had about 1/3 of a bucket full of blue blueberries. :o)

Last year Noah enjoyed blueberry picking by haning out in the moby wrap while mommy did all the work. This year, he shoved blueberries in his mouth the entire time. He loved it!

They were both perfectly behaved. We went with Bethany, Allie and Levi, Karell, Nkailu, James and his two sisters (don't know their names) and Katie and Jack. We also picked cherries... they were okay. A fun experience.
