PERSPECTIVE

Liliana sportin her new shirt. She had her 5 year Well-Visit with the Doctor today and had 2 shots! She is such a BIG girl.... I love you, our SWEET 5 year old girl!!! I have some pics on my phone from the doctor's office... will post them soon... She was so nervous about the shots and hid behind the chair to avoid the doctor and me and she was hysterical, but I finally had to scoop her up, which was not easy as she is a very strong girl, and hold her in my lap. Once the shots were done, she was calm as could be. On the way home in the van she talked about how brave she was and how she didn't even cry... and I thought she must have amnesia about it cuz she screamed and cried so hysterically, then she explained that she was so brave cuz she didn't cry AFTER the shot was done... there's PERSPECTIVE for ya! Loved that! Blessed my heart!

Thursday, March 31st

A very thoughtful friend brought over some balloons the other day that provided a couple of weeks worth of fun and pleasure. AWE! Thank you, Charlene! Friday, April 1st No Foolin! AttNott gave Liliana a very special gift for her birthday... babysitting 2 kids and $ for L & Mommy to go to the Claypen in West Hartford! LOVED THIS PLACE!!! I could make it my hangout if I lived closer. It was like a spa for me and I felt like it was my birthday gift because I had so much fun! We were there for 2 hours and it felt like 1! We hit Walgreen's on the way and grabbed chocolate milk, Rootbeer and Cheetoe's to snack on. See our drinks and the Cheetoes...
There were so many things to choose from... here is a glimpse... and see Liliana sneaking behind the shelf for a lolli-pop to bring home to Noah... so thoughtful.

Liliana chose to paint a unicorn...
She chose a hand-mirror for me to paint for her...
Our pottery is being baked and we will pick it up this week... will post pics of the end results soon! On the way home Liliana began talking about Elia turning 1 in September and said that she wanted to give her unicorn to her for her First Birthday... how generous and thoughtful!!! This girl is something else! :)

Earlier that same day we shed installed... they were in and out in 2 hours! wow! Here's the crew checkin' it out! :)

GREENBEANS! ...on the chin... not in the belly! :)
Saturday, April 2nd

Liliana playing with Elia... teasing her to grab a hold of the tiny scarf she is holding... LISA, see the newborn picture of Elia on the wall to the back-right.... :)

Liliana Turns 5!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LILIANA!

XOXOXOX

Daddy started the day off by bringing Liliana to Big Y to get some donuts for breakfast and also bought her a birthday balloon.

After we enjoyed our donuts, we presented Liliana with her present, card and special birthday book I made her. It is so sweet. She loved it!!! Here is Daddy reading it to her for the first time. :)

Per her request two weeks prior, she and Noah had Happy Meals for her Birthday lunch and Daddy grilled hot dogs for the rest of us. It was kind of cold out but the sun was shining so bright. We had some neighbor kids come over for homemade birthday cupcakes!

Liliana had best time running around the yard with Noah and her neighbor friends. She was so silly, cute, happy and funny during cupcake time:

See above the cute little pinwheels we gave out as "party" favors. :) After the outdoor fun was done, around 2 pm, Emma came over for a couple of hours to play! Awe, this was so special for Liliana. See their matching outfits Auntie Joy gave them. :)

Then, off to Cracker Barrel we went!
Elia trying to give Noah a big slobbery kiss! :) Casey, Eliezer, Manny, Levi, and Curtis all join us for dinner.
The girls were tired by this point...
After we ate, we let the girls go shopping. They picked out matching pink doggies and the boys both got a cool candy toy. We chose Cracker Barrel because Liliana love to "shop" ika "beg for stuff" there. :)
WE LOVE YOU SWEET, LILIANA!!!

You're now 5! Wow! What a fun year this will be!

Grandma's Visit

Grandma's Here!!!

Grandma woke up her first morning here covered in stuffed animals and surrounded by ecstatic grand kids! They went straight up stairs to see her and did not even stop by to say "good morning" to me...ha!
Liliana sat by grandma and placed her hand in hers.
Grandma spent lots of time outside playing t-ball with the kids...they took advantage and kept her out there for hours! We had 70 degree weather during her visit...wild for CT for this time of year and a great blessing!
Grandma had in her heart for months to come up and surprise Liliana for her birthday and that is just what she did! We told the kids a few days ahead though...we couldn't stand it!
Liliana turns 4!!!
We had a sweet party with many friends at church! Had I known we were to have 70 degrees we would have done the park!
Liliana enjoyed taking naps with grandma! AWE!!!
Off to Cracker Barrel for Sunday dinner!
Grandma snuck out of there with some goodies for the kids!
My belly at 14 weeks 1 day...carrying very different this time...very high...I think my face looks puffy and pregnant already...cute!
Look at Noah looking over...amazed to see Daddy on the swings...way cool!!! Grandma on the swings probably didn't impress him too much cuz dude, she is g-ma and does all cool things!
Liliana smiling from ear to ear...
Grandma was here from Thursday, March 18 - Tuesday, March 23rd...NOT LONG ENOUGH!!! :o) We hit the park the last full day she was here. and then off to my OBGYN appointment...a special treat of an impromptu ultrasound...baby is so cute and busy! It was amazing to see the elbows, feet, hands, etc of someone so tiny. The doctor tried to find the gender but baby was too busy. Liliana got to be doctor's helper....too sweet!
Check out the Dunkin' Donuts, she loves it and does not have it where she lives! We hit the drive through many times. Hop-scotch!

Noah, in a real sweet, loving, bliss-filled soft voice: "Grandma.......Grandma......Hi".
Grandma talkin' to the kids.
Liliana rockin' the outfit Auntie Heather mailed her for her birthday. Auntie Heather is Liliana's Soul-Sista!
Sportin' G-ma's glasses at breakfast before we leave to take G to the airport.
Minutes before we left for the airport.
The day Grandma leaves is always hard and sad...she leaves such a void the day she leaves because she is just so sweet wonderful! By the next day we are in our routine again and okay and looking forward to the next visit!
Thank you for coming Grandma!
We LOVE and MISS you!!!

Noah's Turns 2

Our sweet love-bug is
2 years old today!
We got him a guitar for his Birthday. He LOVES it!!! He slept with it the first night...I went in and snuck it out of his bed after he fell asleep.
We went to Moe's for lunch...not realizing that most of the "artwork" in there is of guitars...too cute! "Happy Birthday to you!!!"
I totally DID NOT even "think" of this ice-cream being pink...it is Friendly's Peppermint flavor...yum...sorry boy!!!

YUMMY!
After the birthday cupcakes & ice cream, we headed to Forrest Park in MA to see the lights...
Didn't plan this, but we HAD TO hit the Cracker Barrel on the way home...we love Cracker Barrel!
So...the mommy scoop on her boy turning 2:

It felt like Noah was 1 forever! :o) I am SO, SO happy for that!!! I truly feel like I lived each and every day to the fullest and enjoyed every moment this past year with our little guy. He is still my super-snuggle-bug...just as sweet as can be!!! Still very compliant and calm and easy going and just the best!!! He still naps perfectly and sleeps great at night. I think he missed his nap like one day ever and that was due to scheduling...not by his choice!
When I look at him I still see and remember that warm sweet baby I layed my eyes upon the day he was born and I kissed on the cheek. I remember how when I looked into his new sweet warm face and talked to him just minutes after he was born I knew he knew me...he opened his eyes for me as best he could and his face was smiling with love for me...his mommy. I am the most blessed woman in the world!!!
Thank you Jesus!!!!!! :o)
