Old Sturbridge Village

We are so super blessed to be an easy drive from SO many unique, educational, and FUN places for us to go as a family!  One of those places is Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge Massachusettes.  It is set to mimic the 1800's and they do so to the T, even making their own yarn from the sheep's wool and dying it in things like brown water boiled down from black walnuts!  so so fun!
This visit was EXTRA special because my dearest friend, Heather and her husband Blaine and their doll of a daughter, Ellie met us there for a couple of hours!!!  It touched and refreshed the depths of my soul to spend time with her!!!  :)
Her is Elia and Ellie on their first playdate!  AWE!
Liliana and Elia riding a sheep!  Haha!
The kids played on this slide for about 30 minutes... :)

Old School... haha... no pun intended!  :)

Beauty!
 Auntie Heather and Elia!!
 Old time house...

Like the shades... they fit in??  :)

Elia cracked us and the visitors who walked through when she tucked herself into the cradle bed in teh model house from the 1800's... it was about 2:00 p.m. at this point and a bed is definitely what she needed as that is past her nap time!  She layed in there for about 10 minutes tucking herself in and play snoring!  Hahaha!  Too sweet!!!  :)

A Day Filled with Adventure!

KidCity
We LOVE this place and had a blast there today with our neighbor friends!
We go there often, mostly in the winter with our museum pass that gets us in to museums all over CT and the country if we were to venture out... Look at sweet Elia with the dinosaur.
Here she is looking in on the train display.
Climbing fun with Timmy... remember, he is just 8 days older than her.  Fun fact:  they are at so much alike right now with their stages of development that after a long day his mommy and I talked and discovered that they both had their first real "time out" on that day, this past Wednesday!
Dino Fun!  from front to back: Stew, Timmy, Elia on the right in orange and Noah.

Girl fun at the fairy and horse station... and the dino Elia brought over...
This is in Noah's favorite room of the museum, the Theatre, where you can dress up and control the sound effects and video of the "stage".  There are cameras all over this room and the kids can control what camera is on the 5 or 6 tv monitors.
Driving are Rosie and Elia and Stew and Liliana are in for a ride!
Noah whipping up some dessert.
This space ship is cool.  The boys love it because there is a device inside that shows the power of their voices on it when they scream.  Crazy!  :)
We had the best time and are so thankful we have the opportunity to enjoy such a wonderful, beatiful and fun place!!!  We are so blessed!!!

Sleeping Bear first thing in the morning!  :)
I looked over to see if Liliana was awake and I was like "is she in there???"... yes, she is!  haha!  So cute!
Monday, July 16th
Elia spent the day with a friend so I could work and Donnie did stuff with the big kids.  She and Elia went to savers and bought a trunk load of toys... great stuff, including the singing Spiderman that was just $4.00!  Noah loves it!
 Tuesday, July 17th
POOL fun with Casey, Manny and Levi!  Sweet Summer time!  :)
 Wednesday, July 18th
Liliana had me do her nails for her before she went to Auntie Joy's to spend the day with Emma.  These nails are from the Tooth Fairy.
While Liliana was at AJ's and Elia and Pawley were napping, Noah and I played our own version of the Game of LIFE and Noah asked me to babysit!!!  I could not believe it!  He landed on the spot where he had to pay $5,000 for each of his two kids, boy and girl, to go to summer school... he paid up and straight away asked me to babysit his kids and take them to summer school!!  I could not beleive it!!  HEHE!  He totally took the two kids out of his blue car and had me put them in my green car... SEE...

Thursday, July 19th
Uhmmmmm...... BEAR!? ...

Last night we finally made our fun and bright summer shirts!!!  LOVE them!  They are white jellyfish made from each kids hand prints!
Saturday, July 21st
We went to Yankee Candle with us on the Church bus with about 30 Keenagers.  We had a great time!  :)  There was a car show there that day and it was way cool!  I loved it, there were cars from 1912-now of all makes and models... lods of Beautiful ART!  :)
Everyone was tired from a long fun day!
Look at Pawley with her cone on, she was spayed on Monday and is doing great... just a couple more days with the cone!  We watched a Yogi Bear movie.

I bought Noah this shirt recently and this is the second week in a row that he drew and colored it at church in his class because he loves it so much!!!  SO SO SO SWEET!!!  God and Mommy LOVE his grateful heart!  :)
