Project 365 Week 4

Sunday, January 22nd

I am not too fond of cooking and if I had my way, food would be something we needed once a day, not 3+ times a day.  :)  It seems to take up too much time... eating and eating again and cooking and eating... I think I feel this way because I NEED to eat so much or I get super shaky... so to stay on top of my protein and food intake is often times a real job...

All that to say, Pancakes are my specialty!!!  Huge and fluffy and delicious!!!  :)

 We made it into the church building this morning only to have Liliana run to the nearest bathroom feeling the need to throw up... she did a tiny bit and we headed home, leaving Noah with Daddy to see Manny in the Cafe and then head to his class.  He was then kicked out of class for hitting and kickng his teacher twice, so Daddy brought him home.  What a morning!!!

That night, I was very eager to get Noah into the church to give him the opportunity to behave and succeed in his class and he did EXCELLENT!  Mommy needed that!  :)  He and Liliana went into the Community Center with all of the kids ages 4-12 for a fun time for Spiritual Emphasis week.  They loved it and could not wait to go back the next night!  They did face painting at the end of service and Noah got Spiderman on his cheek.  Liliana washed hers off before I could get a picture.

Wednesday, January 25th

Play-doh fun!  Mommy made Noah these cool spectacles and look what Elia did with hers!!!  haha!

 That night we had church and again, Noah did excellent in the same class setting for the 2 hour service!!!  So proud of you boy!  Keep it up!  You have the power - God's POWER to do GOOD things! :)

Thursday, January 26th

Elia and I are going to see Courtney in February!  Courtney has been doing a countdown and here is her text to me at 6:54 pm - 28 days! :)))))))  hehehe!  I took this picture of my iPod texting screen when I got her text.  :)  We text each other ALL the time!  :)

Friday, January 27th

Just up from her nap and ready for dinner... she slept 4 hours!!!  She wanted to bring her bunny down with her.  AWE!  It sings "Jesus Loves Me".

 Our Big Girl, Princess is all about Valentine's Day!  She has been talking about it every day and making cards and hearts and songs about it!  Love Bug!  :)  These are marshmallow hearts on her eyes.

Saturday, January 28th

Noah woke up in the night last night throwing up!  :(  It was an up and down night of laundry and Mommy's snuggles and sleeping in various places together to stay close to the bathroom.  Love you, Bear!

When he felt a little better the kids decided to clean the hardwood throughout the entire house!  So cute!!!  They did just a good a job as Daddy does... they are learning well!  :)

 Once Noah got his appetite back, he wanted pumpkin bread of all things!  I did not have any pumpkin puree, so I called my neighbor to see if they had any pumpkin bread made and they did not but he offered chocolate chip cookies!  ha!  That inspired me to just bake some!  Here are the kids looking in on them!

The BEST oatmeal chocolate chip cookies EVER!!!  YUM!!!  Noah ate 2...  :)

 Watching Curious George before bed... lots more tv than usual with all these tummy aches... See all of the pillows on the couch... Elia put them all up there and even tried very hard to take the pillow out from under Liliana's head to place it up there with the rest!  She is acting like her Daddy wanting things all tidy... haha!  :)  So cute!  Daddy then went over and threw them all back onto the floor so she could do it all over again and leave Liliana alone.  :)

One Day in the Life of a Pastor

At the close of the day today Donnie gave me a run-down what all he had done, which he doesn't often do, but wow, I am glad he did!  I told him if I did just ONE of the MANY, MANY detailed, taxing, emotionally sensitive things he had to do today, I would be exhausted!  I shook his hand and told him I am honored to know him! 

I love you so much, Donnie!  You are such a wonderful, deep, caring, tender, gentle and loving man of God and I truly am honored to share this life with you!

Project 365 Week 3

Sunday, January 15th

Noah asks me to draw Spiderman, Superman and Batman for him all the time and he connects the dots and colors them in.  With this one, Daddy would stick him all around the house for the kids to find.

Tuesday, January 17th

Mommy and Elia still getting over the horrible stomach bug we had over the weekend, so I let Noah go out and play in the fresh snow for 15 minutes while I watched him like a hawk from the kitchen window.  I took a few videos of him throwing snowballs at the window at me... haha!  fun!  :)

Daddy brought Noah home his very own giant stuffed animal doggy tonight!  Noah loves him!!!  :)  He has a few stuffed animals but seemed in need of a big one like Yana's.

 Wednesday, Janurary 18th

Thursday, January 19th 

So happy to see Elia have her appetite back after that stomach bug!  Here she is with a Nutella facial!  :)

See how she dumped the flower water out onto the table and put the orange flower back into the cup upside down!  :)

Grocery shopping day for Noah!  Someone's gotta do it!  He had so much fun shopping throughout the house again and again and having me scan and bag his items. 

Friday, January 20th

Elia loves to look outside the windows.  Today, she got to look out at the beautiful white snow!

Noah has his superman costume on underneath his shirt here and he is wearing Daddy's glasses to be Clark Kent... Daddy then tells him about someone in need and Noah runs and takes his shirt and glasses off to become Superman and help the person!  They did this all morning.

Mommy hung up all of Noah's super-hero cut-outs that we made together.  Elia loved it!  She loves it when she sees new decorations in the house!

Saturday, January 21st

Elia called me "Mama" tonight!!! :)
After dinner the kids all snuggled on the couch to watch a new Wild Kratts show before they brushed their teeth and went to bed. During that time, I cleaned the kitchen and washed the dishes. When I was done, I walked into the living room unannounced and Elia looked right up at me and reached for me and said a big, loud and clear "Mama!" Liliana and looked at each other in awe and excitement knowing what had just happened! :)
Donnie has recently been coaching Elia to do this and today was the day!
When Donnie came home tonight I told him the story and she heard me say "Mama" and reached up for me to pick her up and said "Mama".
She said it a couple more times to top the night off.
Mama feels so blessed!!!

Tea time... some Beethoven and Bach filled the air and we ended with a cordial dance!  lol!  Love it! 

Little bear had a stomach bug... here she is with a Lolly-pop... ummm... don't know what inspired me to give her one but she enjoyed it.  :)

 Liliana had her drawing pad in her bed for a few minutes before she went to sleep and this is what she drew... this is her dream of her marrying Noah... awe!!!  She has not yet come to grips with God's rules about marriage and why she can't marry him.  :)  so so sweet!

 

Friday, January 13th

Saturday, January 14th

Elia LOVES to point at stuff to show her interest!  too cute!!!  Here are their morning snuggles over a show... probably Wild Kratts (Liliana's favorite) or Sesame Street (Elia's favorite).  See WideO keeping Liliana warm.  :)

After watching Mr. Poppin's Penguins we all kind of took a little nap on the couch.  Noah almost never naps these days, so he had a hard time going to bed later on for bed time, but it was so cozy, nonetheless!

After awaking from the nap... I noticed my belly did not feel to good and then it hit me hard!  :(

That night Liliana wrote me a message:  "I hope you feel better. I love you.  Love, Liliana"
