Cute stuff

On Memorial Day I bought a dress at Old Navy and got home and tried it on... Thought I liked it at first but then changed back into my shorts... Donnie asked me why I took it off and I said Because I wasnt comfortable I it; I thought it made me look like a square... Liliana said "Mommy, you didn't look like a square, you looked like a princess.". Awe!

A few weeks ago I asked the kids what they thought of having grilled cheese for dinner and Liliana said " yes, grilled cheese is one of my favorite foods!" and Noah said "I like girl cheese too, Yana can have girl cheese and I can have boy cheese."

Tonight at the dinner table Liliana said my belly is full" and Noah said "no, the guy in your belly is not full yet..... You have a girl in your belly and I have a boy in my belly."

Off to sleep now... :)

VBS Elia and Levi holding hands all on their own! Too sweet!

Elia loves ice cream! Ha! :)
She is such a big talker!
She says "na-na" every time she sees food and has been doing this for a couple weeks now.
"dada" is what she says when she is just happy or playing or just hangin out.
"mama", she says in a deeper more needy tone and she says this when she is tired and needs to snuggle and needs help getting to sleep.
"deedee" or "deedeedeedee" is what she says when she is upset or frustrated and she is usually crying or making a mad face when she says it.
She is just too cute!!!!!!! :)

Momma's Boy!

Noah Jack is a man after his momma's heart...
"Mo_ey" - he prounounces "Mommy" without the middle m's...
"Mo_ey, can I have a lil' sip?" referring to my coffee sitting on the coffee table... I always say "yes, just one sip"
"OH, ThAnk YoU!" in the sweetest heartfelt tone while giving me a big hug and kiss... he says this for everything... such expressions of extreme gratitude!
"Mo_ey, I love you." ...this one makes me cry as I think of his sweet little voice saying these very words to me and he says this All The Time... repeatedly.
"I'll buy that for you" in the sweetest generous joyful tone... or "I bought that for you" ... he tells this to everyone... I tease that he has lots of money to buy everything for everyone. :)
"That's my kid" or "those are my kids"... any kid in the world, on tv, in the park, at church are HIS kids... this one cracks me and Donnie up to the core! My gut is filled with laughter as I type this one. hahaha! :) Who knows, between these last two noted, sounds like he may be a St. Nicholas to open up an orphanage one day...?? :)
"Mo_ey (or Daddy), can you seep (sleep) with me for one minute? Please, for one minute." ...in the sweetest tone of desperation...
When I or Daddy (or both, one at a time), do lay down with him at night for that "one minute", which we do almost every night with each kid, he says "can you scratch a rainbow? What color's missing?"
And on some nights when it's time for Mommy to leave the room, he clings to me and says "I need you..." AWE!

Elia Updates

Elia had her 9 month well visit on Monday, June 13th and weighed in at 20 lbs 11 oz and 28 inches long. :) She continues to be the "shortest" of the 3 kiddos according to the numbers on record... :)

Within the past month she gained 3 new teeth and one more about to break through, bringing her to 6 teeth! :) I am tired, so my sentences may not make sense... ha!

She is on the verge of walking...

is the cutest thing EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

I was just looking through some old photos and found this one which struck a special cord in my heart because this little Liliana still brushes Mommy's hair just the same... Love this girl! I just can't put into words how much I adore and admire her and her special love for others! Sigh... :)

Elia had a fussy 2 or 3 days working on her top two front teeth... AWE... she finally fell asleep on the couch that night with Mommy and I nearly fell asleep too... This is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE pictures!

Our 9th Wedding Anniversary! :)

The Grosvenor's took all 3 kids so we could go out... Cheesecake Factory and Munson's Chocolates.

The babies were SO cute!

We had a wondeful lunch date at the Cheesecake factory... we walked out holding hands, I felt like such a princess all day... very sweet and special time together and as soon as we walked out of the restaraunt I happen to look down and see THIS..... I HAD ON 2 DIFFERENT FLIP-FLOPS!!!!! I laughed SO HARD... I had one pair on and one on the floor board of the van and when I got out of the van I just slipped my feet back in and did not think to look at my feet... Ahh! :) Sweet memory!

Arrived at the Grosvenor's and found this in their Master Closet/the only place with a patch of carpet... :) Next time we will bring them the pack-n-play. :)

Later that same day, me, Elia and Liliana went to Walmart...

Liliana is SO SO SO SO SO SO SO THOUGHTFUL of others! She ran to the office before dinner to make me a card for my Anniversary! Her thoughtfulness of others is like nothing I have ever witnessed!
