Special

Today Noah said "Mommy, I used to think that I was special because I am the Pastor's kid at church but I don't think that anymore." I said "Aww, why honey?" And he said "because I see that there are other kids there and they are all special."
My heart!!!

P90X

Tonight as we were finishing up our dinner of leftover chicken parm and spaghetti, Noah turned to me and said "mommy, I only have 4 more days to do P90X and I will be as strong as Spiderman. I am definitely stronger than Robin and strong than Batman too. Daddy is stronger than Superman, way stronger. The guy who made P90X (Tony Horton) is way way way stronger than Daddy, like a million times stronger."

I listen and said "wow, Noah, that's amazing". Hehe. :)

Lovebug

We are sitting on the couch watching the Angry Birds movie and Noah just snuggles my arm and said out of nowhere: "You're so lovely". Awwww!! Then he said "I'm gonna stay with you forever."
Such a lovebug, through and through!
Love you, Noah!!! Xoxoxoxoxox

Project 365 Week 49

Sunday, November 27th
Donnie and Liliana went to Home Depot and just could not resist buying this adorable little tree for this years Christmas season.  :) (Notice Noah wearing homemade Batman mask #2)
Elia's face is priceless as she tries to figure out what in the world we are doing!  :)
Monday, November 28th
Elia's First ever candy cane!  :) (I think she is looking out the window in this picture.)
Tuesday, November 29th - no pic

Wednesday, November 30th
Because of all the damage to our trees from the snow storm, Alfred back in October, we had our trees raised up and a few dead ones removed.  The men worked for 2 short days and the yard looks HUGE now!  Here is Noah watching them move the boom into the yard... they were not supposed to make 2 long trenches in our lawn... oh, well... yikes!  :)

Thursday, December 1st
A candy cane in one hand and Noah's tooth brush in the other!  Way to enjoy sugar and care for those teeth at the same time!  haha!

OOOOOh, lights, pretty, wow!

Friday, December 2nd
Noah was Superman the entire day, everywhere we went!
Superman, Elia and I, along with our neighbor friends, had a blast at the Lutz.

After the Lutz, we went to Kim's friend, Sherry's hot dog cart on Main street and enjoyed some delicious kielbasa... Superman was a star everywhere we went, even the garbage truck men were shouting out happily to him!  :)

Earlier in the week, me, Noah and Elia went to Kohl's to shop for Daddy for Christmas and spend some Kohl's cash and Noah picked this shirt out for Donnie.  He was so proud to buy this for him!  As soon as we got home, he ran and put it under the Christmas tree and as soon as Donnie came to the door an hour or so later, Noah ran and retrieved the shirt from under the tree and brought it to show Donnie!  haha!  :)  Donnie has worn it most days since... Mommy has it as top priority in the laundry piles.
Here they are prepping for a Batman story before bed... Daddy is tired... awe!
Saturday, December 3rd
FUN day!
Elia is a big-time climber...
Noah's "real" costume came in the mail the day before and I gave it to him today...
Elia does this sweet little eye-blinking thing... adorable!!!
Batman and his super-hero sister.

Climber!  I have to leave my office chair pulled away from my desk so she doesn't get into everything up there.
I had to get something out of my room and found Noah sleeping with this mask over his eyes but by the time I retrieved my camera he had tossed a bit and moved it up... he is sleeping with the Batman book from the library.
We baked sugar cookies and the kids had a blast decorating them at about 10 a.m.... here they are... see the little mouse in his heaven?... haha!  :)

Sweet Superheros!

The other morning Noah said Elia wanted to wear his Batman shirt, so he took it off himself, since he wore it to bed the night before and I put it on her... So sweet! Noah acts as Elia's interpreter and it is SO cute because he says things what she wants and what she is saying and thinking. Today when Liliana handed her a stuffed animal to comfort her from crying, Noah said "I think she want a real stuffed animal that talks and moved by itself."
Noah also still...for as long as he has been able to speak words has talked about his "mom's" house...today as we headed home from our family outing he said "when am I gonna get to go to my mom's house?" totally cracks me UP!!!! :) hahaha! I have no idea where he gets this from but he has the biggest imagination!!
He also talks about his school that he goes to, very matter of fact! ;)

Momma's Boy!

Noah often and randomly tells me "I like you" or "Mommy, I like you".
His love language is very clearly PHYSICAL TOUCH... He always "needs" a hug at the most random times... like often times during a meal, most meals, really, he gets up and says "I need a hug" and hugs me and sits back down.
He likes tuna and hummus. He also likes to share his food with me, he gives me little tastes and little bites of his food. He also loves ginger chews and any kind of spicy food... he is such a little romantic guy, for lack of a better word... I just see him already as such a little gentleman, very thougtful and affectionate and just a neat little guy! :)
The other day out of nowhere while he was eating a snack, he pointed to his front teeth and said "Mommy, these teeth are for decoration."
He has an amazing imagination, always has! Two nights ago while we enjoyed burgers outside he saw a bug and said "the bug told me something, he wants a piano... two pianos!"
He has a very distince and deep voice for a little guy and is very expressive in his tone and facial expressions!
One day we went to Sonic as a family and I said "Noah, would you like a dish of plain Ice cream and he said "Yes!" ..... then 2 quiet minutes later blurted out as sincere as can be ...... "No, I want VAN Ice Cream." (because we were sitting in the van) ........ Get it.... PLANE Ice Cream/VAN Ice Cream!!! hahahaha! :)
(as I was typing this post at 11:03 p.m., he woke up and when I asked him what was wrong, he said "I want you.")

Why?

Mommy: "Noah, why is there cheese all over the floor?"

Noah (in his deep Josh Turner/Scotty McCreery voice): "Because it's cheese."

Yes, the funniest thing ever!

Hehe... Artist Noah

I was so excited and tickled when Noah started drawing faces a couple of weeks ago... They are evolving already. Here is one he drew today, two eyes, cheeks, a smiling face and a nose with big nostrils... hehe! He is too cute!!! It is amazing to see how he watches what Liliana does on her pictures and how he is copying her, I told her she is a teacher. AWE!

Noah News

Noah came to my room first thing this morning and said is a super proud and happy voice: "I sleep in my underwear, Mommy". WHEW! :o) Daddy and I have forgotten to put his pull-up on before bed a few times and some nights it works out fine and others it ends up a soggy ordeal in the wee hours of the night. :o)

When we got home from the museum he went potty and when he went to put his little jeans back on he said "can I have them the wrong way like Jump Jump?"... he noticed on the Wii game that the guys on th Dance 2 game have their pants on backwards for the song Jump by CrissCross... haha! :o) Donnie wore his pants backwards during that era in the 90's. ha!

Who's Who? N or E

Can you see why I catch myself calling Elia "Noah"?

WOW!
When I asked Donnie who was who, he confidently said the first one was Elia and the second one was Noah and I said smiled big and said "huh...hehe..." and he said "oh, wait, this one is Noah because he is wearing blue." ha, so if he were not wearing the obvious boy color, the distinction would be even more unclear.
When I asked Liliana who was who, whithout hesitation, she said "they are both baby Elia". Love this!
I truly have called Elia "Noah" without realizing it so many times since she was born until now and I catch myself amazed at their resemblance. :o)

Project 365 Week 3

Monday, January 10th
I usually gets to sleep in on Mondays and Daddy makes my breakfast fresh for me when I make my sleepy way down the stairs. We love french toast!

Liliana went on a date with daddy. They went bowling and had a blast!
She picked up this ball a couple of times... yay!

Here's for you, mom/Grandma! :o)

Tuesday, January 11th
Liliana went to Auntie Joy's to play with Emma and I took Noah and Elia to the mall to play. Noah was so cute playing so respectfully and quietly... at one point he reached deep into his pocket while looking up at a lady who wasn't paying any attention and he pulled out something to show her... as I watched with anticiaption of what on earth he was digging out of his pocket I was shocked to see....MY iPOD!!!! I jumped up and walked right over there and said "Noah, give me mommy's iPod, you can only have this at home" and he said "okay, mommy". hahah! :o)
Later that day we had snuggle time!

Wednesday, January 12th
We had a blizzard... here we have 25" inches of snow on the ground.

Thursday, Janurary 13th
Elia's new chair! We found it used for half the price! :o)

Sweet feet!
Friday, January 14th
Definitely an underwear on the head kind of a day! :o) Noah had a fever for about 2 days...since we had gone to the germy mall to play...and Mommy was getting cabin fever. :o) Mommy loves being home but loves to be out and about too! :o) Mommy is a big social bug and needs her regular social fix. :o)
Saturday, January 15th
Liliana has recently learned how to blow bubbles with her gum! So cute!
Noah just sticks his wad of gum out of his lips and thinks it is a bubble and gets all excited...hehe!
Lots of coloring!!! Noah is really into coloring and writing lately... he writes lots of "letters" and Liliana loves to try to write words.

Sunday, January 16th
Home another day as Liliana was up coughing the night before... so we stayed in for a "get-well" day full of cozy naps. :o)
LOVE these feet!

All 4 of us played with Liliana's PetShops! I love those little guys, I am a sucker for those and stuffed animals! Elia had a little cold too... she looks sleepy here... awe!
