CCC Annual Church Picnic

Donnie coordinated this year's church picnic and he did a fantastic job!  It was the best one yet!  We had pony rides, a soft serve ice cream truck, a HUGE downhill slip-n-slide, a water bounce slide, a bounce house, horseshoes, face painting, a DJ blasting fun Christian music, a pie eating contest, cotton candy and popcorn from the local movie theater!  Yes, it was a blast!!!  Go Daddy!

At the end of the picnic it was an all Capps' Hands on Deck event of cleaning up, which the kids loved!  They swept, carried cones and Liliana and Noah each got to ride in the single cab church truck with Daddy....OOOOOOOH.  :)

Who's that goofy guy!?  This little guy was SO CUTE... towards the end of the picnic while hanging out in the pavilion area, I caught this little guy copying the DJ, move for move using a picnic table as his DJ station.  :)

The sweetest game.  I found it at Once Upon a Child and the kids, especially Elia LOVE it!  :)  The doggy in the middle barks 1, 2 or 3 times telling your doggy how many spaces to go and dig up a bone and the bones are magnetic to the doggies mouth and are different colors to match different dogs...you collect the ones that match your doggy.
Saturday, June 22nd
At the beginning of the school year, Liliana wanted to start a Bible study and so, we did!  She invited 3 girls, one of which is unchurched and they have come to our house one Saturday morning a month the entire year and we have gone through a book that took us through the books of the Bible.  With Summer vacation in a couple of days, we ended off the year with the Sweetest God's Princesses Tea Party.
I had the girls read the book: That Fat Hat and then they made their hats.  The book is special to us because it was the first book Liliana fell asleep to me reading to her when she was 9 months old...and she was not one to fall asleep easily.  The book is also about peer pressure and not doing things just cuz everyone else is doing it.

I borrowed some mixed-matched tea sets from the Women's ministries bin at church.

Potty Train ~ Wedding Train

Today was day 3 of potty training full undies, except for sleeping times.  Elia has done amazing!  Spot on, with only one accident on day one!  Go girl!  As we have always said since the moment we met her, she is a "professional" at this life thing, very easy going and adventurous.  She just lives life to the fullest without much fuss and just goes with it!  "Let's DO this", is her motto!  :)  Well........
THIS is what she did twice today........
I walked into the kitchen for a quick moment to come back around the corner to a "Potty Train" of toilet paper strung through the house!  What!?  How did she do that so fast and get back on the potty so quietly!?  HOW is this part of going potty!?  SO, seeing this white "TRAIN" of toilet paper through the house for my little girl caused my mind to think of the white wedding gown "TRAIN" she may one day wear leading me to attribute wedding fashion to POTTY TRAINING!
CRACKIN' UP!!!

Project 365 Week 24

Sunday, June 9th
Snuggles before Church.
 Monday, June 10th
I made this for our neighbor friends who moved away so they can always have a view of our house since they used to live right across the street from us. That is a photo of our house I painted on to enhace the color and the backgrounds are all different types of paper and the trees are 3D stickers and the rocks are real rocks I glued on and I painted the clouds and the frame.  The measuring spoon is in memory of us borrowing baking powder from each other...awe!
 Tuesday, June 11th
Liliana's gymnastics finale of the year.  She did excellent getting the top ribbon in each event for her level.  Great job, Liliana!
Afterwards we celebrated with Happy Meals at McDonald's...minus Noah who had OATMEAL.  Tooooo cute!  He loves their oatmeal!  This rainbow topped the night.  It was double, full-scaled, bright and beautiful!
Thursday, June 13th
Liliana had been asking to drink out of a coconut for weeks now and the price was right, so I bought a bundle of 3 and we had fun!

This was a most wonderful milestone, Noah read the entire Green Eggs and Ham book to me!  I was overjoyed to have this little guy read a book to me.  All thanks to his school teacher, Miss Lily, aka, big sister, Liliana!  ;)  Amazing!  So proud of you, Noah!

Donnie and Jen's 11 Year Wedding Anniversary!!!!
We went to Maine for 2 nights, I will post those pics separately.
We returned last night and had a fun family day today and even took the kids to ride their bikes at the park.  FUN!  Elia is now a pro on that tricycle...did not see that coming so fast!!  Go girly!!
She went around and around and around, working very hard and going fast!
Noah on his new bike!!  No training wheels and a bigger bike!  Go dude!!

Elia went off-roading already!!  Donnie went for a run around the park trails having the two big kids ride along with him and Elia saw them take off and wanted to follow.  Soon enough, chicky...
Cool thing we found off-roading, a mommy and her babies.  :)
How cute is this!?
I have photos of Elia taking one of her first walks here when she was less than 18 months old.

Then jogged a tad.  Thanks for the picture, Daddy!  ...notice our van parked back there...
