I hadn't been on a bike in over 10 years...since our honeymoon when we rode bikes on Cozumel to the golf course behind our resort to hit some balls.
I was so scared on this bike at first...but once I got the hang of it, I had a blast!  We bike down the trials for 1 1/2 hours.  I didn't even get too sore!  We borrowed these bikes but want to buy some so we can ride as a family.

Trails with Aunt Patsy

The mittens Liliana is wearing are a brown dog and a grey cat made by Rose, a sweet bus stop friend down the street.  :)  Liliana asked her to make then and in no time, they were done!  :)

 T'was a gorgeous day for a walk!!  :)

Covenant

We are on our way to spend time at Harkness Park in CT with Aunt Patsy and as Liliana is reading in her Bible about loving our enemies and she turned to me with a personal story. She said, "a long time ago, I made a covenant with God, when I was about 5 years old I made a covenant with God that even if somebody didn't look good or if they didn't believe in Jesus, I would not say I don't like them. I would tell myself in my head that they are beautiful or handsome just the way they are."
So precious!!! :)

HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY TO COURTNEY!!! We love you tons!!!

Wednesday, October 3rd
I bough some materials and had the kids make a fall wreath for the front door.
It was a simple craft of tying each strip of fabric on in an alternate color pattern.  The kids learned to use their toes to help hold their spot!  Great job guys!!! Best wreath ever!!!  :)
Later that evening Elia stayed up a little longer than the kids due to her having a late nap and she was totally into the dollhouse furniture!  This is a newfound love of hers!  SO CUTE!  :)
Thursday, October 4th
SEE - here she is napping with the doll house stuff!  See how she lined the chairs up!  Donnie told me about it so I just had to get a photo!
That's it for this week!
