Beautiful

Last night Noah came to our bed around 5 a.m. (ish) to finish out his sleep COZY with us.  That dude is SO COZY.  :)  ...When he layed down he looked at me and said "Mommy, you're beautiful, I always think you're beautiful"...melted my heart to a warm cozy mush.  :)  Then, he asked me to scratch his back and guess things and he was out before I drew the second thing.  :)

Liliana: "I know why God Made Me..."

Liliana and one of her Kindergarten classmates became great friends last year.  They both just adore each other.  Liliana has had a burden to teach Ashley more about God and has given her clear instructions on how to pray, much of which Ashley has been doing.  :)  This weekend we, as a family went to Ashley's house for dinner and had a lovely time! 

Burdened to continue to lead Ashley and others to Christ, Liliana said this weekend one day: "Mommy, I know why God made me... God created me to be a FRIEND to people so I can teach them about Him!"

Sunday, September 16th

Elia's Turns 2 Ice Cream Party!

 

 

I hung these little chalkboards up with messages on them and gave them out as favors as the friends left. (I love decorating for parties!!!)  :)

 After the party the two big kids went to bed and Elia stayed up a little longer since she had a long nap that day so Daddy, Elia and I had a tea party with the tea set one of her little friends gave her.  It was SO SWEET!  I taught her hot, more and the pouring sound effects and boy did she pour tons of tea into my cup after every sip!  :)

While Noah was at Preschool, Elia was like royalty with a nice warm bubble bath all to herself! ...Of course, drinking bathwater is part of every child's develpement...YUCKY!  :)

I had Timmy for the morning while Kim worked in the boys preschool classroom as part of our co-op..I had the best time with these two!  They got along perfectly!!  We played at home, had snacks, went to the park for a walk (I pushed them in the double stroller) then let them play at the playground for 20-30 minutes.  Such a SWEET day!  :)

Elia is a messy eater and drinker so she ends up with her shirt off every now and then.  Here they were playing tea party then... 

Then moved their party to the CAGE!

Aren't they CUTE!!!  They are just 8 days apart!  :)



Noah's Plans of Residency

For the past month or so Noah has been saying that when he grows up to be big like Daddy he is going to build a skyscraper to live in and a hotel.  Yesterday at dinner he decided that he was going to build his skyscraper in our backyard here to be close to us.  He talks about this skyscraper and hotel often.  :)  LOVE!!!!!  :)

Sibling Security

Noah is going through a "bad dream" phase and always wants to sleep in our bed and for the past two weeks has very sincerely and expectantly asks Elia: "Bayelia, can you protect me the whole night until it's morning??" and she answers him with a confident and clear "yeah" or "yes" shaking her head in confirmation of her answer yet truly oblivious of the grandiosity of his request. In response, Noah then says "Mawey, she said yes, Bayelia said she will protect me the whole night until it's morning."

SO SWEET!!!

We drove 6+ hours in the 3 church shuttles with the Keenagers to the Amish land or Pennsylvania.  Love it there!!!

The Perez's went with us this time to lead worship during the services which was the so FUN for Liliana and Noah!

 Liliana and Levi really bonded.  Liliana took care of this baby doll for about 7 days straight day and night... she did amazing with caring for it! Such a little mama!  :)

The resort we stayed in was the sister to the DoubleTree next door which had an indoor water park and a huge indoor pool. We had a BLAST!!!
