Noah's Art

I love Noah's very intricate style of drawing. He loves drawing these tiny little circles. He also likes drawing big circles and lines.

Tappin' Tuesday

Liliana came up here out of bed..."grrr"...and saw me looking at these dance class pictures and she said:

"Sometimes I am afraid cuz I don't want anyone to look at my bum."

"Cuz my bum is just top secret."

These comments give me further insight on what she meant that day after dance class when she told me she was kind of shy that day (last Tuesday, 1/21/10). I didn't even notice because she danced great! :o) I love it when she shakes her teeny, tiny tooshy...cracks me up!!! :o) haha!

Bedtime

Noah loves and is very good about going to bed now...he has found a loophole in our system...haha...he has been crawling up into Liliana's bed with her and falling asleep there! He has been doing this for a few days now and we love it...it is just perfectly fine (for now)! :o) Donnie goes in there about a half an hour or so after they fall asleep and he brings Noah back to his bed where he sleeps soundly the rest of the night! Liliana told us today that she sings to him in her bed as he is laying next to her and that he does song requests with her just like he does to us...AWE...he found another person to seranade him, his favorite thing! Too sweet!!!

Noah Nuggets

After I got home from the gym I introduced Noah & Liliana to my Ipod with earphones. "Oooh".
Noah never ceases to surprise us with his very individual and unique sleeping scenarios...Last night Donnie went in to check on the kids about an hour after we layed them down and he found this: This morning around the house: one of his shoes, one of Liliana's
and my earmuffs:

When you ask Noah anything and his answer is yes he says "Mm'Yeah"...sounds just like Yeah but with a strong "M" at the beginning of the word! We all love it!

Noah's Nap Today

I just sang our sweet boy to sleep!!! The sweetest thing ever! I always write about how much he LOVES to be sung to, but to watch him begin to snore within minutes right before my eyes to the ABC song (his request) was just the sweetest think ever! Almost felt a little miraculous...AWE!

Donnie has actually been doing this for the past few nights as I have surrendered Noah's bedtime challenges to him...ha! Donnie is the sweetest and most amazing Daddy in the whole entire world, ever...tears...awe!!! Last night I had a meeting at church and was only gone for an hour and a half and when I got home, he already had lights out and the room smelled so good, like the kids were so clean from the bath he gave them and the lotion he lathered on them...he said that when he was rubbing the lotion on Noah's feet, Noah said "feels good". AWE!!!

DADDY, YOU ARE THE BEST!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU!!! XOXOXOXOXOX!!!

Tappin Tuesdays

Liliana brought her (Alley's) kitty to dance class with urgency because they "needed" her to bring it for the parachute game! Awe! She was so sincere about them needing her to bring it!

Interesting Naps

Noah is over 2 now and ever since he has graduated to his twin bed has not had the same napping habits. He will still take 2 hour naps, but not as consistently. So, often times naptime consists of a few hours of getting nowhere with it. Awe! =\

Friday, after hours of trying at home, he fell asleep in the van on the way to drop Liliana off at Alley's house. He was fast asleep and because they live a good 20 minutes away, he got a good nap in, he slept all the way there and back!

Today, I spied on him to see if he had fallen asleep at naptime and this is what I found!!! He had the light on and was sound asleep!!! He has a miserable cold, so I guess this must have felt good on his sinuses!? AWE!!! I couldn't believe it! Too sweet!!! Such a SWEET boy!!!

Sony Cybershot

For me, right now, there is no camera besides the Sony Cybershot (except for the fancy ones like Lisa's)! When you take as many photos as I do, your camera becomes like part of you...it is weird... We bought our first Sony Cybershot a few months before Liliana was born and upgraded 2 years later and this Christmas I asked for another upgrade because the movie mode on mine was acting weird...well, Donnie decided he wanted to get me something "way better", so he got me a particular camera...more zoom, etc, but I did not like it...we did not bond...I told him exactly what I wanted again and he got me an even "nicer, more expensive" camera...but, no...I am a girl who knows what she wants. :o) These other cameras were amazing and all, but the pictured were blurry and dark and had a green tint to them...SO, I "took charge" and got exactly what I wanted today...my new Sony Cybershot...*sigh*...I feel whole again...lol...and Donnie sure didn't mind getting a refund because these cameras are pretty "cheap". Kudos to Carl Zeiss...he created an amazing lens, one that captures the world as I see it!

For some reason, tonight Noah got all bundled up in his towel after bathtime and layed on the towel on the bathroom floor and Liliana followed suit. They pretended to go "night-night".

I read The Foot Book to Noah multiple times tonight and then as I saw him reading it I had to get my camera...how cute and perfect is this...those sweet feet right next to The Foot Book...I love how the book is just about as long as his legs, perfect for his feet to have room to stick out.

Time to call it a night and hit the hay...he is beginning to daze!

Noah Nuggets

Titles for some posts are so hard sometimes....Noah Nuggets...haha! :o)

Noah HATES to have his teeth brushed. He has always hated it, but worse now, I think. It is true torture for him. I do it anyways...I have to lay him on the bed and hold his legs down with mine and hold is arms down with my left arm and brush with my right hand all while his face turns red and he cries and squirms. This is just the normal routine, doesn't stress me a bit, I just get'r done and talk sweet and giggle at how silly he is for being SO dramatic about oral health! LOL!!!

Here is one real good reason for going through all of this for a clean mouth...NOAH HAD TUNA IN HIS MOUTH FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF TODAY! Yes, he did! He was in this cozy, "guy" mode today where he didn't have much of an appetite and kind of spaced out during his meals...at lunch we had chicken nuggets & mac-n-cheese and he ate two bites and kept the third bite of mac in his mouth for at least an hour. Later he did the same thing with his tuna, on the first bite! This was at about 4:30 and when we arrived at church at 6, he still had it in his mouth! I tried everything! I tickled him to see if he would open his mouth and give it up, I tried prying his teeth open with my finger, I tried bribing him with gum, nothing worked! He finally swallowed the tuna at church when he saw the giant box of goldfish...on from one fish to another!

2010 Goals...Hehe

1. Get a doggie
2. and a cat - hehe...daddy...xoxox
3. hmmm...lose 15 pounds, but MORE importantly, get in shape...joining a gym this week & doing P90X BABY!!!
4. Send out birthday cards...on time! ha!
5. Become a liscenced Assemblies of God minister. I have applied, just in the waiting process.
6. Share my story with more girls and women as God opens doors, with the prayer that they will fall in love with Jesus too!!! Tears of honor to know Jesus the way I do...tears...... *sigh* :o)
7. See Courtney, at least once! :o)

These goals are in no particular order...ha! :o)

Our Cat & Doggie

We don't have an actual cat or dog...YET...but, we DO have Liliana who off and on for the past few months has been our doggie and Noah, usually takes the role of a cat, but sometimes a dog.

One cute thing that Noah does EVERY time he asks for a vitamin, he comes to the kitchen, gets on all fours in front of the cabinet and says "ruff" or "meow", "nemnem" (vitamin). He will also do this for M&M's, which sounds a lot like his word for vitamin, but he does it in front of a different cabinet, the one I stash any m&m's in, if I have any.

Other Develoments, new or ongoing:

Liliana still says "I'n", instead of "I'm" Love this!

Noah loves to count. I think I may have posted about this before, but he can count to 13.

Noah, just today started to sing the abc song...pretty much all the way through. Too cute!

Noah loves to draw and sing just like Liliana. He especially loves for you to sing to him! If he asks for music, he will say "songs" and point to the iPod dock or tv...awe!

Wooh!

I am enjoying playing with my new camera Daddy got me. I think I have learned that the thing that makes the most difference in photos is Photoshop...not necessarily the camera...I may be way wrong...but learning! :o) I love photoshop! Fun!

I don't mind the cold of winter, as I am pretty warm natured, except for the days it is below 20 degrees because I don't like taking the kids out in that kind of cold. The one thing I miss the most is OUTDOOR PHOTOS...they are so much better and more natural looking. It is hard to take photos in our house, especially downstairs because the walls are all GREEN...HA! I do love my green walls though...but they DON'T help photos - at all! Ha!
