The weather was GREAT today so we headed to the park for the afternoon! Yay!

Thursday, March 24th

Lutz in the morning - a Solar System Maestro class. Super fun! The kids learned a lot and talked about planets the entire day! They are going to love school!

I finally have a picture of Elia in her crib that we finally put together 2 weeks ago. She transitioned beautifully into the kids room and out of the bassinet. :)

Elia's First Full Bath in BIG Tub!

I had an emergency bath situation today with Elia and the timing was perfect to put her right in with Big Bro & Sis! She was ALL OVER IT!!! She had the best time! To make this experience even more fun, mommy was blowing bubbles! :) Liliana loved having her in there, she keep saying "my baby girl"... AWE! She is such a little mama!

Look at her face, she is SO intense! Look at those eyes, so focused, and that clinched jaw... I can feel it in my mommy bones that I am in for it big with this girl in the upcoming months as she is one BUSY BUSY girl!!! She is already getting bored with her toys and if I put a regular toy in front of her and something new next to it, she dives right for the new thing after looking at both options. She is so smart and sharp! She has excellent coordination and is beginning the army crawl... Uh-oh... :) hehe!
Look at her!!! Look at that face! She is trying to dive in! Nothing intimidates her, she is ready to try anything new! :)

Project 365 Week 12

It is amazing to me how even when doing Project 365, I still feel like there are so many things I leave out... Like Elia has her second bottom tooth... she has had it for about 3 weeks now.

This week she has been a big milestone week in that she is clapping now and rolling over. She has rolled over 3 times so far, so it is not her choice for transportation, but she can do it. :) She loves to sit for long intervals, I don't know, half an hour at a time, all day... she bounces on her bottom when she is sitting like she is getting ready to lunge forward and start crawling. When she is on her belly, she finds her way around by scooting and kicking her legs to reach things. She also loves her Jumperoo so much and when you hold her in your lap she loves to bounce on her bum and jump and lunge forward towards things and people out of reach. All in all, she is a busy girl, still showing a great sense of independence, patience about life and the sweetest, quiet content disposition ever. AWE! So, Week 12, here we go...

Gardening Gloves! Yay! It was so nice out! We played/worked in they yard ALL day! Then topped it off with a walk around the nearby pond with our neighbor friends. :)

Donnie and his friend took the tent down and made a couple of dump runs. It is so clean now... the was before the final clean-up of the day. FUN!

The kids also got rakes... I love Christmas Tree Shops! :)

Friday, March 18th

Another nice day! We spend a few hours at the park that morning. Liliana spent a lot of her time on the swings learning to pump. She was so proud!

Neighbor Friends at the park with us joined us for a little stroll. We had LOTS of friends join us at the park for a "reunion"... fun!

I did not realize till I saw these photos how uncomfortable Elia looks. AWE... I think I need to tighten the seatbelt or something. :)

Conked, nonetheless... and baby socks just don't stay on. :)

Remote time later that day. YUM! Ha!

Saturday, March 19th

Big milestones! I brought Elia to the nursery at church for the first time. I stayed in there with her most of the time, but she did not even flinch a bit about it! AT ALL... she just sat there and played and interacted with the other kids, all much bigger than her. She smiled and played uninhibitedly (a word?)... She is so content, secure, peaceful, friendly, social and simply uninhibited in every way. I love her!!! :)

Not only was this a milestone day at church for Elia, but mostly for Mommy as it was also Liliana's last day at church as a 4 year old... AWE... she is getting so big!!! Mommy had a few moments of reflection and tears today as we take big steps forward... AWE!

Daddy started the day off by bringing Liliana to Big Y to get some donuts for breakfast and also bought her a birthday balloon.

After we enjoyed our donuts, we presented Liliana with her present, card and special birthday book I made her. It is so sweet. She loved it!!! Here is Daddy reading it to her for the first time. :)

Per her request two weeks prior, she and Noah had Happy Meals for her Birthday lunch and Daddy grilled hot dogs for the rest of us. It was kind of cold out but the sun was shining so bright. We had some neighbor kids come over for homemade birthday cupcakes!

Liliana had best time running around the yard with Noah and her neighbor friends. She was so silly, cute, happy and funny during cupcake time:

See above the cute little pinwheels we gave out as "party" favors. :) After the outdoor fun was done, around 2 pm, Emma came over for a couple of hours to play! Awe, this was so special for Liliana. See their matching outfits Auntie Joy gave them. :)

Then, off to Cracker Barrel we went!

After we ate, we let the girls go shopping. They picked out matching pink doggies and the boys both got a cool candy toy. We chose Cracker Barrel because Liliana love to "shop" ika "beg for stuff" there. :)

You're now 5! Wow! What a fun year this will be!

Elia's 6 Month Well-Visit

The Doctors LOVE Elia!!! They all know us when I come in and some of them even know her by name. (There is nothing like having a Pediatrician you love)... Well, our sweet Elia was her usual SUPER SWEET SWEET SWEET SWEET self... did I say SWEET??? :) The doctor was so impressed with her and how well she can sit up for her age. I had Tori watch Liliana and Noah at the house so I could take Elia in by myself and it was a very special time...

She gained a little over 2 lbs in the past 2 months, putting her at the 85% at 17 lbs 15.5 oz.
She is so far the shortest of the 3 kids at her age... she grew one inch over the past two months and is now 25 1/2 inches tall. Liliana was 27 1/2 inches at her 6 month Dr. visit and I know Noah was at least that tall, maybe taller. :) So cute! :) We think this is why Elia has not rolled over because her belly is so ...CUTE and big...hehehe! :) I LOVE IT!!!

The past 6 months have FLOWN by for me! Even with the crazy winter we had, it zipped by in a flash. Having Elia in September was the perfect time of year to be couped up with her to just enjoy her at a slower pace to enjoy every single moment, as they go by WAY TOO FAST! Now, here we are and she is a big girl at 6 months old, sitting up tall on her own, playing with toys, eating baby food, busy as can be. Now that the weather is warming up, she is at the perfect age to sit outside in the yard on a blanket with me, swing in the baby swing at the park and go for walks in the stoller. I know the next 6 months will be filled with SO many milestones, like words, crawling, walking, and the big day of her first Birthday... ahh... I am about to start tearing up... I better stop this! ....... sigh...... We are all so IN LOVE with Elia, our Buggy-Bear and thank God for her every day, as Daddy says "she is definitely the cherry on top". AWE!

Today is my Mommy's (Grandma's) Birthday! Happy Birthday!!! WE LOVE & MISS YOU!!!

The kids had fun feeding Elia while I made dinner... after seeing the mess one the floor, I don't think much made it into her belly... ha! :)

Speaking of Elia napping on the couch... that is exactly what she was doing when this photo was taken... Emma came over for a couple of hours and the kids were playing Wii Dance 2... Loud and Elia slept through every bit of it. :)

The hard winter's effect on our tent. Crazy looking, huh!? Donnie and his buddy(s) will build a shed in the weeks to come...
