Project 365 Week 34

Sunday, August 14th

This is where I have been finding Elia... hehe... we do our best to keep the toilet lid down and the bathroom door shut. :)

Monday, August 15th

A woodchuck in our backyard! Liliana cried the whole time (15 minutes) he was out there because I wouldn't let her run out there to pet him... she LOVES animals! :) Emma was here with us today. I took a video of this little guy eating. Our first time baking homeade blueberry muffins! YUMMY! We used our hand-picked blueberries! The kids love helping me cook! :) We had such a wonderful day! Blueberry muffins, Emma over, woodchuck, I cooked a pot of Taco Soup to have on hand, Diane watched the kids for a couple hours so I could run errands, we had dinner at our neighbors house! So blessed!!!

Liliana put Elia in this chair and she sat in it so well! What a big girl! ;)

LOVE this face!!! The sun was in her eyes... we were at the playground at Liliana's school. We brought Little Ceasar's pizza (love it cuz it is SO cheap!)... we ate out on the grass and then played for a bit to help Liliana get acclimated to the school grounds.

Then played a little more in the yard when we got home. I love Elia's Elmo shirt... I got it at Target on Clearance...

Liliana's BIG Girl Tooth ... SEE it back there pushing her baby tooth in front out! I love looking at it and always ask her to show me her teeth. She will even catch me looking at it sometimes and will say "you were just looking at my tooth, weren't you?" :) Such a big milestone! She is getting to be such a big kid! AWE!!! :)

Daddy left last night for Guatemala for 11 days!!! :( here we go...

Spent the day at the Snyder's house and went blueberry picking! We always have a blast with them!

Elia Updates

Elia is cruising all over the place!
She takes one or two steps alone here and there, then plops down to do her favorite Miss America upright crawl with her right hand up in the air.
She shakes her head "yes" all the time. :)
Two days ago as I fed her lunch I said "you want that", referring to the spoonful of food, and she looked at it and said "yes" ...WOW!!! :)
She tried to put a headband on her own head this week.
She pushes cars around and even tries to work the wind-back kind that go.
She says "that" a lot.
She loves to point at stuff and at pictures in books.
She loves to pull books off of the book shelf and look at them.
She sits right along and listens to story books with the big kids.
This evening, she grabbed my hand and placed it on the keyboard and looked at me implying "play, mommy". :)
She is still super busy with that tongue! She twists is all around. Totally reminds me of Liliana's 9 month portraits... I have one of her with her tongue twisted. :)
Her hair is growing... so sweet!
She is still an amazing sleeper and napper!
She is not picky about food at all. She loves yogurt, cheese, most fruits and veggies, pizza, ice cream.
Last night I let her hold her own McDonald's vanilla cone after I ate a good portion of the ice cream off the top... she would not let me touch it after she got a hold of it!!! SO CUTE!!! She loved it!!! :)
WE ARE ALL... LOVING EVERY SECOND WITH THIS GIRL!!!!!!!!!!

Momma's Boy!

Noah often and randomly tells me "I like you" or "Mommy, I like you".
His love language is very clearly PHYSICAL TOUCH... He always "needs" a hug at the most random times... like often times during a meal, most meals, really, he gets up and says "I need a hug" and hugs me and sits back down.
He likes tuna and hummus. He also likes to share his food with me, he gives me little tastes and little bites of his food. He also loves ginger chews and any kind of spicy food... he is such a little romantic guy, for lack of a better word... I just see him already as such a little gentleman, very thougtful and affectionate and just a neat little guy! :)
The other day out of nowhere while he was eating a snack, he pointed to his front teeth and said "Mommy, these teeth are for decoration."
He has an amazing imagination, always has! Two nights ago while we enjoyed burgers outside he saw a bug and said "the bug told me something, he wants a piano... two pianos!"
He has a very distince and deep voice for a little guy and is very expressive in his tone and facial expressions!
One day we went to Sonic as a family and I said "Noah, would you like a dish of plain Ice cream and he said "Yes!" ..... then 2 quiet minutes later blurted out as sincere as can be ...... "No, I want VAN Ice Cream." (because we were sitting in the van) ........ Get it.... PLANE Ice Cream/VAN Ice Cream!!! hahahaha! :)
(as I was typing this post at 11:03 p.m., he woke up and when I asked him what was wrong, he said "I want you.")

Sunday, July 31`

Liliana LOVES to answer the phone and call people. She is amazing at memorizing phone numbers and getting really good at talking on the phone like such a big girl! :) My mom told me today that Liliana sounds just like me when I was a little girl and A friend of mine said that it won't be long until she will not be able to tell if it is me or Liliana on the phone! :) She does indeed sound extra cute over the phone! Also... Look at those feet in this photo!!! She has done this with her feet since she was a baby!

This big girl goes out of her way, past all of her Little Tykes cars to find this tricycle... she is like "I want a big kid bike, like brother and sister!" :)

Project 365 Week 31

I LOVE my camera and am so thankful for it and all of the amazing photos it takes... but you will see especially by this weeks results that I tend to not use it when we are in the house because it while outdoor pics are acceptionally crisp and true to color, it takes blurry photos in the house... I am probably just not using it right... ? It rained a LOT this week, so we weren't outside, so a lot of days with no pics.

Another toad! We have been finding toads in our yard and in the flower beds. Liliana always enjoys them. :)

Liliana painted her finger and toe nails. She is very good at it and she paints mine too! Much better than some salons!

Again... BLURRY...Liliana and Noah were letting Elia taste their Loli-pops that she got at Chucky Cheese today at Emma's 6th Birthday party. Elia loved the taste of them... the perks of coming in 3rd! :)
