Old Sturbridge Village

We are so super blessed to be an easy drive from SO many unique, educational, and FUN places for us to go as a family!  One of those places is Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge Massachusettes.  It is set to mimic the 1800's and they do so to the T, even making their own yarn from the sheep's wool and dying it in things like brown water boiled down from black walnuts!  so so fun!
This visit was EXTRA special because my dearest friend, Heather and her husband Blaine and their doll of a daughter, Ellie met us there for a couple of hours!!!  It touched and refreshed the depths of my soul to spend time with her!!!  :)
Her is Elia and Ellie on their first playdate!  AWE!
Liliana and Elia riding a sheep!  Haha!
The kids played on this slide for about 30 minutes... :)

Old School... haha... no pun intended!  :)

Beauty!
 Auntie Heather and Elia!!
 Old time house...

Like the shades... they fit in??  :)

Elia cracked us and the visitors who walked through when she tucked herself into the cradle bed in teh model house from the 1800's... it was about 2:00 p.m. at this point and a bed is definitely what she needed as that is past her nap time!  She layed in there for about 10 minutes tucking herself in and play snoring!  Hahaha!  Too sweet!!!  :)
