Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, so if your opinions about someone change over the time of your relationship then you are not walking in love towards them Because Gods love for them has not changed yesterday, today or ever. Choose to love the way God does, without bounds or limitations.
If a friend has fickle expectations of you, pray for them and love them through it. People place expectations on others based upon past experiences which usually have nothing to do with you. :)
