Project 365 Week 21

Sunday, May 19th
Meet Inchy.....he is a teeny inchworm we found in the yard.  He was so much fun for the 4 hours we had him!!!  :)

Why is Inchy on a tomato paste can in our living room, you may ask? Because the kids were playing store, of course!
Later in the day, Liliana created recycle-items a dolly named Ashley. Her head is an empty strawberry carton and her body, two large box covers, popsicle stick arms and legs with coffee filters for socks and pipe cleaners for hair and a mouth.  Elia LOVED this doll...LOVED it!  She played with it for a good 3-4 days!!!  Hours at a time, having it sit next to her, watch shows with her and she would lay her down in her room on the chair and cover her with a blanket each night!!!
Monday, May 20th
Elia and her line up of animals with Pawley's dog treats.  My-oh-my...this girl is busy, so creative and always up to something cute.
Tuesday, May 21st
Next day, chillin' with the animals with honey pretzels.  :)  So sweet!!!

I didn't expect to find myself emotional as I spend some time catching up on my blog but here we go....
Noah's Preschool Graduation
Here he is drawing a heart for me.  He loves to draw hearts for me.  :)
Look at his SWEET face there in the middle of the line...be still my heart.  I love you, Noah!
I am only typing this because it is my personal, private blog, but I did notice that Noah was the only kid she gave a hug to during the ceremony...just a thing a Mommy would notice, nothing obvious or anything but...my heart captured this:
When it was his turn she noted two things about him: how he said to her one day out of nowhere, "Mrs. Oliphant, you are the best teacher ever." and how he seems to be a gaming expert and really loves those video games.  :)  Precious dude!!!
Each child painted a rock to go in her garden at home as a memory of her 30ish years of service there as a preschool teacher.  This was also her mark of retirement.  Our word to describe her was:

Mrs. Oliphant was such an amazing blessing to us and to Noah during his year of preschool.  So thankful we learn of the school through our friends, Kim and Jesse.
Oh, and Spots got to graduate too!  :)
 Trinity Cooperative Preschool
Vernon, CT
...notice the big homemade looking flower on the bulletin board there with the pipe cleaners woven through it...Noah made that for Mrs. O.  :)
