Liliana's First Tap Class

Liliana loved her first tap dancing class today!

It was way too cute! Her teacher is excellent!

They did a moment of ballet and a few jazz moves too!

Noah went through 3 pop-pops (dum-dum ones - small)! He is a loud guy when he is bored or frustrated, as toddlers are, so I did what I needed to keep him quiet as the room is large and noises echo. He wanted to dance so badly! Awe! :o( He was sitting their tapping his foot out with the routine and clapping and singing. Too sweet! They did Itsy-Bitsy Spider and he sang right along, hand motions and all!

Family Day!

We love family time on daddies day off! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Cracker Barrel on the way to a small zoo. It was a wonderful day! By evening Donnie said it was one of the his most enjoyable days ever! So sweet! :o)

9, 10, 11, 13

About three days ago Noah randomly all out of nowhere said "8, 9, 10, 11" while he was jumping and playing... Well, I was like... huh!? and I just thought "wow!", but thought... way random... hmmm.... Well, just now he was laying on the floor playing and said loud and clear as can be "9, 10, 11, 13... ready, set, go!"... Liliana and I just looked at each other and I ran upstairs to blog it! Hehe!!! What a big boy!!! Counting at 21 months of age! I am so in love with this little guy!!!! *sigh!*

My Favorite Season!

It is technically not fall yet, but it is beginning to feel and look like it! Fall is my favorite time of the year! I would rank the seasons like this: Fall, Spring, Winter (but wish it were shorter), Summer (almost tied with Winter, but I am so hot natured that the cold doesn't really phase me). If I am this hot-natured now, I can't imagine how I will be during menapause... ha!

Fall is my favorite in every way!

Sight - the beautiful colors of the changing leaves! I love the pumpkins, the scarecrows......

Smells - the crisp cool air, fire-pits and fireplaces at night, Yankee candles - Harvest, Apple, etc...

Taste - Homeade Apple Pie with my handpicked apples

Touch - the fresh cool crisp air

Auditory - The sounds of the leaves rustling.... so cozy!!!

Hayrides, corn mazes, apples, pumpkins, candles, blankets, food..........

Mini-Me

I bought this little stroller for Liliana at Savers the other day for $2.50! She loves it! She takes such good care of her babies. She is so sweet to them. She sounds like a Mini-Me. Notice her shirt is on backwards and Noah is in the background wanting to hurry out of this store. He was tired... busy morning vacuuming the van out, etc. :o)

Labor Day 2009

What a big, FUN-FILLED day we had today... we did so much... so many special memories! We started off with a walk.

Here are Noah and Liliana trying to catch up with Donnie on the trails. Donnie is the one way ahead on the far left with the white cap on. He is running with his friend, Josh.

I had them say "bum!" (thier word for gum) to get them to look at me for the pictures.

Liliana is so proud of her new toy, a pink cat from the Little Pet Shop collection. She takes such tender care of it.

As soon as Noah saw this sign he said "map!" and pointed to it. He ran over to it and sang his version of the Dora, "I'm the Map" song. Too cute! I can't imaging life without Dora...LOL!

Sweet Noah on his tricycle...a hand-me-down to Liliana and now to Noah. He is still a little too small for this, but he loved it. He also enjoyed taking his helmet off and on. He called it a hat.

Here he is trying to buckle his helmet strap all by himself! Too cute! Look at those tiny hands working so hard!

He got it semi-buckled and he was making sure it was on good.

Noah really wanted to push his tricycle back to the van. He was carrying it with such determination. It was hilarious!

Yostin' time! Woohoo!!! We had the best time with our wonderful friends! They had us over for a Labor Day picnic.

This swing was the coolest thing according to these three! They would not stay off of it inspite of it knocking Noah down multiple times... he would get right back up for more! Kids - Fun at any price!

Mr. Yost gave Noah a new nickname today, "cornbread" because he ate so much of the cornbread! He kept going back to the table and helping himself to more. He loves to eat!

Noah's First Full Haircut - by Mommy

I was letting Noah's beautiful hair grow out but decided to spiffy him up today because it was starting to look a little messy. Here are the before and after shots:

The shadow on the back wall makes his hair look way bigger than it was. lol! He is the cutest! He was saying "cheese" in the photo above. He is so expressive when he talks! He has beautiful eyebrows.

He was a perfectly good boy throughout the haircut. Daddy helped out by making sure he had a pop-pop at all times! Go Daddy with the pop-pop skills! LOL!

I think he looks so much more like Donnie now. He looks like a little football player in these last two photos. Little sweet tough guy!
