Project 365 Week 22

Sunday, May 27th

Liliana drew this picture for the Kratt Brothers of Wild Kratts, her favorite show and she wrote them a letter.  Sad thing is that they have NO mailing or emailing address for their fans, you can't even send something to them through facebook, I tried sending them this picture, with no success.  Those guys have a very special fan in Liliana!

Monday, May 28th

Elia playing with a little doll... she layed her down and found this burp cloth to use as a blanket... SO SWEET!

 Slip-n-Slide fun with Daddy... he is so brave to flop on his belly and show them how it is done since it was his favorite summer fun as a kid!  I have never been good at it... ouch!

Tuesday, May 29th

This morning we had Pawley in her kennel for a few minutes and I was in the other room and I heard Elia in there talking to Pawley, which I thought sounded so so cute!  Then I started to hear a repetative light sound of something dropping...??...so after a minute or two of that, I walk in to find Pawley in her cage, Elia squatting in front of it dropping in one doggie bone at a time... the cutest thing EVER!!!  :)  

 In the evening Liliana had piano, and then I went to a friends house for fun girl time!

Wednesday, May 30th

Liliana found an inch worm... she was THRILLED!  She said her teacher just recently talked about these at school.  :)

While Liliana was at school today I gave Noah a hair cut!  :)  I think this may be the shortest I have ever gone with his hair.  Look at those huge loving brown eyes and those perfectly kissable cheeks!!!  :)  He was getting hot with his long hair, so now he is ready for summer!  :)

 Elia saw me taking pictures of Noah and climbed down and sat in front of me for a picture!  haha!  I think those two look a lot alike!

This week I discovered a new favorite flower...the Peony!!!  What a LOVELY fragrance!!!  I cut this one and put it in a tiny vase for our bedroom and enjoyed the sweet smell all night long!  :)

 Saturday, June 2nd
I tried really hard to get a good picture of Pawley... she is so busy!  All of her front bottom baby teeth are out now... hopefully that means teething on everything will calm down a little... 

Since Donnie is in a bowling League this summer, he gets to bowl free every day, so he brought Liliana and Noah bowling today... they had a blast and did not even use the ramp or gutter guards this time and bowled a 63 and 68 or so... wow!

Donnie also took them to the store with him to grab a few things and included a prize for each of them.  Liliana got a horsey and Noah got a Lego set with Batman and Catwoman.  It was fun to walk Noah through putting together his first real small sized Lego set.

Elia took a long nap and Momma enjoyed a very lazy, somewhat productive, super relaxing day!

 Since Elia had such a LONG cozy nappy today, I let her stay up a little later than the other kids and "help" me fold laundry... she had me put a good variety of sock on her and here she is pictured with 4 pairs of Noah's underwear and one of Liliana's... LOL!!! Oh, and the bandaid is on her leg because I was about to put it on me and she started patting her leg... so, she "needed" one too...

 We had THE SWEETEST time together tonight!  Her personality and interaction with us is just blossoming like crazy right now!  She is 80% more vocal than she has ever been and that thrills my heart to see her growing in this area!!!  She says all kinds of words now:  doggie, sister, eye, teeth, eat, hi, bye, ouw, uh-oh..."  Just a sugary sweet love bug!!!

Off to bed now with my heart smiling HUGE!!!!  Just overwhelmed with love and thanksgiving and joy!!!  :)

SO BLESSED!!!!!!!!!

Just Before Bed

Noah Talk & Lili Humor! :o)

Liliana's newest "thing" is to pick out her outfits and change clothes. Today she changed clothes about 3 times. Well, one of those times Noah saw her head covered by the shirt she was removing and said "I see you"... He said it like 10 times. Perfectly clear and adorable! I love how articulate he is! It makes things so easy on mommy! :o)

In between one of the clothing changes Liliana needed help opening the gate... she said "I can't open the gate because my hands are full" and as I look at her empty hands I said "oh really, what are they full of?" and she said "bones". LOL!!! She is too smart! :o)

More cute "dirt" on Liliana, my precious little baby girl... Yesterday she said she needed a pad in her panties... she said very matter of fact, "mommy, I need a pad", I said "oh, really, why honey?" and she said "because I had a baby yesterday and so I need a pad in my panties today." lol! A little girl in Liliana's class at church told me last night that she had a baby in her belly too (her mommy is pregnant). Girls are so sweet in how they copy and try to identify with their mommies! So sweet!

More Noah Talk

Liliana had a boo-boo on her thumb tonight and asked me to put a band aid on it, well she whined very pitiful like! Noah jumped right in on the action and stuck his foot out where he had a band aid a week ago and I said to him "Noah, do you want one too?" and he said "Yeah.... do it.... NOW!..." Oh my! :o)

It is so cute to watch Noah learn to talk because he is so decisive! He has always presented himself as a very decisive little guy, but now that he is more verbally expressive, it really shows. Any time I ask him a question (i.e. do you want a waffle?, are you done?, etc) he says "yeah, yes, or no"... and that is that! Much unlike us girls and women where you must read between the lines and decipher between our waffling and vague answers. lol! There are no mind-reading games or mysteries with Noah... he is pretty black and white about stuff! Makes it SO easy on mommy! Thanks little guy! :o)

Noah's First Phrase

Noah said his first 3 word phrase today!!! This is huge! :o) Here's what happened: He and Liliana were standing in front of the sink in their room brushing their teeth and I was holding his toothbrush saying "scrub, scrub, scrub" and he grabbed the toothbrush out of my hand and said "I do it". Liliana looked up at me and I said, "did you hear that" and she said "yeah" with a proud and amazed smile on her face. He is getting so big. His words are coming out more and more clear and with a greater sound of confidence in what he is saying.

My Love Bug - oh, he is the cutest!

Noah's cutest words lately are nite-nite... when I lay him down to go to sleep he says "nite-nite" and gives me the sweetest cozy, content smile and when I begin to walk out the door he says "bye-bye". So sweet!

He knows all about going bye-bye... when he sees keys, shoes or my purse, he runs to the front door saying "bye-bye".

When he is done eating, he says "done" and after I wipe his hands and mouth, he says "down" so I will get him out of the highchair. :o)

He loves keys! He says "keys" to ask for my keys.

He says "pop-pop" to ask for a lollipop. He asks for them more than he gets them. :o)

Chackstick

"Nose"

Here is Noah wearing Liliana's sunglasses and pointing to his nose saying "nose". Way too cute!

Noah is adding new words to his vocab every day. He now points to your nose or his nose and says "nose". He will point to your eyes and say "eyes". When you go to the bathroom and stand in front of the sink, he says "teeth" because he sees his toothbrush there. He says "Noah" and "MalMo" (Elmo). So sweet!!!

Noah has been talking so much, it is getting hard to keep up with his new words. He will experiment and say new words here and there. He says "this", "that" and the cutest new one is "baby".

Ball - I was wearing pj's with reindeer on them and one has a tiny little real bell sewn onto it... that is where Noah learned the word ball... later in the day we brought home from church their big blue ball and he learned more of the word "ball"! :o) He is such a big talker.

Cracker - KaKar - today at church I walked into the toddler room to find Noah eating a saltine cracker that the workers had given him to eat and I said "Noah, what are you eating?" and the ladies said "a cracker" and then Noah said "Kakar" and then said it 50 more times that evening as I gave him more crackers. :o) So sweet!

On - there is a noise machine in the kids room for sleep-time. Well, the other morning I got Noah out of his crib and turned the machine off and he later pointed at it and said "on". He has since said that a couple of times.

More Noah Talk

Well, Noah is on a roll and it looks like I may be posting about his new words on a daily basis. He loves to talk!

Down - today I caught Noah and Liliana sitting on the end table and I said "guys, you need to get down" and he says "down, down" and later while in his highchair he threw his banana on the floor and look down at it and said "down" and then when I was getting him out of his highchair he said "down". :o)

Nana - he also says "nana" for banana.

Today Noah started saying "bye-bye" and "hi" a bunch! He has said "hi" before, but now is saying it a lot! He loves to talk... he is a chattery little guy!

Noah has added a couple of new words to his vocabulary.

Door - he learned this one by studing the bathroom door... you know those times where you get not a moment alone! Ha! He would point at the door and I would say "door" about 50 times as he pointed and there you go! (about a week ago)

Dora - he loves to point at the pictue of Dora on one of their toy bins - same drill - he points 50 times, I say "Dora" 50 times. :o) (yesterday)

Girl & Good Girl - He just picked this one up from me saying "good girl" to Liliana.

Go - today we were in the Target parking lot driving around looking for a parking place - it was packed! Liliana asked me "what are we doing?", I said "looking for a parking place", she said "you can go wherever you want" and boom - Noah said "GO".... "go".... and then all three of us said it about 20 times to make sure it stuck. ha! :o)

This is all so sweet! I remember my brother and me teaching my little sister, Linda, how to talk. She is a little over 4 years younger than me.
