Project 365 Week 3

Monday, January 10th

I usually gets to sleep in on Mondays and Daddy makes my breakfast fresh for me when I make my sleepy way down the stairs. We love french toast!

Liliana went on a date with daddy. They went bowling and had a blast!
She picked up this ball a couple of times... yay!

Here's for you, mom/Grandma! :o)

Tuesday, January 11th
Liliana went to Auntie Joy's to play with Emma and I took Noah and Elia to the mall to play. Noah was so cute playing so respectfully and quietly... at one point he reached deep into his pocket while looking up at a lady who wasn't paying any attention and he pulled out something to show her... as I watched with anticiaption of what on earth he was digging out of his pocket I was shocked to see....MY iPOD!!!! I jumped up and walked right over there and said "Noah, give me mommy's iPod, you can only have this at home" and he said "okay, mommy". hahah! :o)
Later that day we had snuggle time!

Wednesday, January 12th

We had a blizzard... here we have 25" inches of snow on the ground.

Thursday, Janurary 13th

Elia's new chair! We found it used for half the price! :o)

Friday, January 14th

Definitely an underwear on the head kind of a day! :o) Noah had a fever for about 2 days...since we had gone to the germy mall to play...and Mommy was getting cabin fever. :o) Mommy loves being home but loves to be out and about too! :o) Mommy is a big social bug and needs her regular social fix. :o)

Saturday, January 15th

Liliana has recently learned how to blow bubbles with her gum! So cute!

Noah just sticks his wad of gum out of his lips and thinks it is a bubble and gets all excited...hehe!

Lots of coloring!!! Noah is really into coloring and writing lately... he writes lots of "letters" and Liliana loves to try to write words.

Sunday, January 16th

Home another day as Liliana was up coughing the night before... so we stayed in for a "get-well" day full of cozy naps. :o)

All 4 of us played with Liliana's PetShops! I love those little guys, I am a sucker for those and stuffed animals! Elia had a little cold too... she looks sleepy here... awe!

Party Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs

Daddy has taken Liliana on lots of Daddy-Daughter dates lately. Saturday night after church they hit Mc Donalds for a good ole' Happy Meal... He let her place her own order. I took her on a date there about a week ago and she loved it! She thought it was the COOLEST thing EVER! I love her innocence and appreciation for the simplest things in life...I did not buy the Happy Meal though, Mommies are too frugal for that...LOL!

Evidence in the photo above indicates that there has been yet another Daddy-Daughter visit to good ole' Micky-D's...He took her there today for another Happy Meal.

Here they are headed out on their date and Noah had to join in for a big hug!

In order to distract Noah from realizing that he was not going "bye-bye" with Daddy, I gave him two marshmallows...Donnie's suggestion...of course. Noah loves marshmallows

Back to the date: Donnie had a discussion with Liliana yesterday and quickly realized that she had NO IDEA what a movie theater was or what it entailed! He could not wait to treat his girl to a trip to the movies! I love this photo, she looks like a little old lady in those 3-D glasses.

They ate popcorn, stawberry flavored gummy worms, orange slice soda and watched Partly Cloudy with a Change of Meatballs. Liliana's first words to me when she got home were "Mommy, it was crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy (like 12 times in a very dramatic voice) and then gave me a giant hug." She loved it! They both had a blast!

Funny parts: half-way into it Liliana said to Donnie "Daddy, I have to go poo-poo and pee-pee"! That is my baby girl!!! So innocent!!! Love it!!! Then like 10 minutes before the end of the movie she said to Donnie "Daddy, lets just forget it and go home". She got tired of sitting there watching a movie...that's my girl!!! We don't watch a lot of movies and she has never seen a princess movie...I think they are pointless if not damaging to a child's perspective on reality.

Magical Mondays

Donnie took Liliana to dance class for the very first time. He loved it and she did too! She was very giddy to have her daddy there with her. He said she waved at him like 50 times. See her peeking over to see him. So sweet!

Donnie did not take too many pictures because he was shy about using my pink camera infront of all the moms there. I told him they would all understand! :o) Hey, at least he took these. He's the best!

Dates with daddy are something that is important to us and I guess this was kind of their first one. Daddy Dates will show our precious girl how a lady is to be treated and nurturing that daddy-daughter bond is just so special and priceless!
