Noah LOVES guitars! He uses everything and anything as a guitar: the mixing attachment for a hand mixer, a metal whisk, small paint brushes, his big plastic golf club...all of these things are or have been guitars. Today I bought him a stuffed animal whale and he pulled out the tail and said it was a guitar...lol!
He also LOVES music... Mozart, DC Talk, anything... but ESPESCIALLY POWER...the theme song (song #1) from the VBS soundtrack two years ago. He will listen to it over and over and over and over and over again...literally... if you try to let the cd play out all of the songs he will say "Power, Mommy". He has all of the Toddler room workers at church wrapped around his finger...haha...they play power for him...over and over and over again..."oh, my!" I have been teasing lately that I want to go on a week long family campout to fast him from electricity. I have always LOVED music too though... as far back as I can remember. I used to sit with the big head phones on in front of the real-to-real player and listen to Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"...
He also loves stairs! I guess the two full flights of stairs we have in our townhome are not enough for him. Ha! His twin bed and box spring are right on the floor and he pushes the mattress out just enough to make the box spring and bed look like two steps and he climbs up and down and says "stairs!". Just today when we were driving to church he saw a couple of houses with big staircases in the front and he was saying "stairs" and when we passed them he said "where'd the stairs go?". He is a climber for sure!!!

Grandma's Visit
Grandma's Here!!!
Grandma had in her heart for months to come up and surprise Liliana for her birthday and that is just what she did! We told the kids a few days ahead though...we couldn't stand it!
Liliana turns 4!!!
Look at Noah looking over...amazed to see Daddy on the swings...way cool!!! Grandma on the swings probably didn't impress him too much cuz dude, she is g-ma and does all cool things!
Liliana smiling from ear to ear...
Check out the Dunkin' Donuts, she loves it and does not have it where she lives! We hit the drive through many times.
Hop-scotch!

Noah, in a real sweet, loving, bliss-filled soft voice: "Grandma.......Grandma......Hi".

Liliana's Prayer for Mommy's Belly
Last night as I was putting the kids to bed I asked them to pray for mommy's belly (6 visits to the bathroom in 4 hours...rough!!!)...They both layed hands on my belly and prayed...Here is what Liliana prayed as she led the prayer:
"Dear Jesus, please touch mommy's belly and help it to feel better, heal it, heal it Jesus (then she lowered her hand to where baby is) and help the baby to be strong and give her power! In Jesus' Name. Amen"
WOW!!! :o) Priceless!!!

Liliana Stories
Today as Liliana was eating chicken pot pie:
Liliana: "Mommy does chicken come from real chickens??"
me: "yes, it does"
Liliana (big eyes and studdering to get out her theory): "Do they poop it out and we clean it off and eat the chicken they poop out??"
Me: "uhm...........no.............uhm..........it is just chicken..........is that okay??
Liliana: "we eat chickens...no that is not okay...I am a chicken" and off into animal pretend mode she went.
A couple of weeks ago Liliana was holding a peice of paper pretending to read a story to Noah. Here is the story:
Once upon a time a big moose came to eat Noah up and a raccoon came to rescue him. The End. (She had been pretending to be a raccoon those few days prior).
She LOVES animals and is very curious about ALL of them..."Mommy, how does a squirrel talk?" "Mommy, how does a mouse walk?" "Mommy, what do hippos say?" whew...I don't know a lot of this stuff...lol! :o) If she sees a cartoon or movie (super rare) that does not have a single animal in it she says "this just has humans in it, it's boring because it does not have any animals."

Our Stylish Chicky
Liliana used the word "stylish" like three times the other day...I was like "what?". :o)
She told me this morning that last night she dreamt about new cute soft doggy pajamas. SHE IS DREAMING ABOUT NEW CLOTHES...and she is only a few days from turning 4!!! Uh-oh! :o) Love it!

Liliana's Latest
This morning as I was in the bathroom at the bottom of the stairwell face to face with the unmerciful white throne of no grace, Noah standing there watching, Liliana comes down the stairs saying very calmly "Mommy, when you are done throwing up can you get my crown and that pink thing in my room for me."
I LOVE how their lives are very little affected by my sufferings...MORNING SICKNESS!
Here she is along with her penguin all dolled up...see the crown on her head and the pink thing around penguin's neck...these are what she was requesting...they are princesses.
Last Sunday after we got home from church she said to me: "Mommy, I want a necklace, a bracelet, a headband and some earrings." She is becoming very much into being super girly!!! She loves having her nails painted (always has) and will attempt to run from the dinner table to change her shirt during a meal if she gets food on it...we stop her...of course.
The other day in the van as we were driving home from a friends house I asked her something we ask every day "what was your favorite part of today?" and she had a long list of things and mixed in there was "......wearing short sleeves, wearing shorts...." She is SO READY to say "see ya" to her winter coat for a few months!!! Too cute!!!
