Daddy is the Coolest!

We are a gugglin' family! LOL! I think this is right after breakfast one day. I am noticing that a lot of the photos I take are of the kids watching tv... our little morning routine... makes it look like we watch a lot of tv, but we don't! Once the day gets going, it is hardly on... although the smoldering heat over the past few weeks got us in more of a routine with the tv... plus Noah's recent 5-day fever bug and now, Liliana's 3 day fever bug... ugh!

Pop-pops! UGH! Noah named them pop-pops and Daddy got this little guy hooked on them! Last week when he had a 5-day fever/diarrhea bug, we got kind of desperate for the little guy to get some calories in his system, so we gave him a pop-pop every now and then... my rule is 1... but I went out for a girls night after Noah was all better and Donnie gave me the report on how the night went "great!" and that he had given Noah like 5 pop-pops as they snuggled on the couch! NO!!! The very next morning before Noah's eyes were fully opened he put one hand on each side of my face, like he always does in his charming little way, and said "pop-pop". Ahhh!!! Yes, Donnie got in trouble! ha!
Bed-time Bible story routine! Daddy reads the preschool devotional and then reads one or two Bible stories, then we dim the lights and pray and sing "Jesus Loves Me"...

Curls

I was walking through the store the other day and saw these foam rollers and had to buy them to have fun-girly time with Liliana. :o) Noah always asks me to put one in his hair. They both like to try to put them in my hair. Fun times! (They are watching Curious George or something in the above photo. We love Curious George).

Guggle

Noah LOVES TO SNUGGLE, or as he says, GUGGLE!!! He will go over to the couch and say "couch, guggle, come on" and point to the couch and wave me over to it to snuggle with him. He has always been such a love bug! He lays there so cozy and twirls his hair with his fingers. At bedtime he calls me to snuggle with him on Liliana's bed while she finishes getting ready for bed or sometimes the three of us will squeeze on there. He will put one of his hands on each side of my face and lay face to face with me saying guggle and will pull my face in to touch noses. What a mush-ball! I LOVE IT! The sweetest little LOVE BUG in the whole wide world! :o)

I got a new phone and now realize how to do the videos. LOL! :o) Future ones will be upright. Still cute!!!

Another Haircut

Liliana is getting so big! She looks so grown up in these photos. I took these during breakfast this morning to show off her new haircut. I cut it last night. :o)

Liliana's Day at the Groves

I would like to say that Donnie and I were sorely missed when we were in Boston the other day, but nope... Liliana had a blast with the Groves! They went to the lake and even for a super-fast boat ride!

Bethany said that Liliana was an adrenaline junkie! LOL! Just like mommy! Oh my! :o)

So cute! She is at such a cute age! She is still so small, yet so big at the same time! She looks so cold in the above photo. Cute!!!

Liliana loves Alley SO much! Alley is her first friend. Alley is exaclty 18 months older than Liliana, and they have been hanging out since Liliana was, hmm... like 9 months old or younger - ha! This is by default since her mommy, Bethany and I hang out a lot.

Liliana did not want to leave at all! She wanted so badly to stay the night with Alley. Awe! Another time, for sure! Cute!!!

Boston

Donnie and I had the wonderful responsibility of being in charge of one of the coach buses full of church folks headed to Boston for the day together. I brought Liliana to her friend Alley's house and Donnie brought Noah to the Snyder's. Here is Liliana, very excited to see Alley this morning. :o)

We enjoyed a most delicious meal of abundant proportions at Maggiano's in Little Italy.

We also went to Quicny Market, very cool!

My most favorite thing about Boston is it's rich history... I love it!!! I learn so much when I go there and always leave wanting to learn more.

Feniul Hall (spelling - would look it up, but computer is acting up). I could have sat in here for hours. Speechless. Wow!!!

And, of course a Boston Harbor cruise. I got a little sunburn, ouch.

We bought a t-shirt for all four of us.

Ballpits & Bedtime

We ventured off to one of those indoor playscape places. They are not my thing, but the kids had a great time. I much prefer anything outdoors! :o)

Liliana loves her new jamas - from the church tag sale! Hehe! :o)

Noah's church tag sale purchase! So cute!!! $1.00 :o) We helped out with the CCC tag sale to support Peru missions. Super fun and huge success! Yay!

Pastor Daddy

Because we spend so much time at church - 5 services a week+, AND because ministry is our family's life, I have been exposing Liliana to more than just her class. I have been bringing her in for worship time and today I brought her in to see a part of what Daddy does at "work". Hehe! :o) Donnie had the wonderful opportunity to preach this weekend since Bishop Wiles and Pastor Sean are both in Guatemala. Liliana got to see daddy preach! :o) It was so cool. She said "Daddy is a good talker like that", she also asked "mommy, why are all these people listening to daddy talk?" and "why is daddy talking so much?" and "what is daddy talking about?". She recognized the his reference to Adam and Eve. :o) It was a wonderful salvation message ALL about JESUS!
